Carlos Bonilla

Attorney

Carlos J. Bonilla practices real estate law and has been heavily involved in a broad range of legal issues affecting large scale projects. Mr. Bonilla managed an international real estate company doing business throughout Latin America and Asia. Mr. Bonilla represents large real estate investment groups doing business in Canada, Brazil, Costa Rica and the United States, drafting contracts, legal due diligence for large investment transactions and real estate closings. Mr. Bonilla has worked on acquisition and rezoning of large tracts of land in Florida; acquisition, entitlements and design of large hotel projects, condominium documentation, and management issues. Mr. Bonilla is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, and obtained an advanced degree (LL.M.) in Real Property Development in 2005. He is a member of The Florida Bar and is a Fellow of the Florida Bar Foundation. He is also a member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity. He actively supports philanthropic associations. Mr. Bonilla is a Florida Real Estate Licensee, and is a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Jude Council, in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Bonilla is fluent in English and Spanish.

Brian Horwitz

Brian Horwitz is a conscientious and experienced attorney who has practiced litigation for more than 10 years. He began his career working on toxic tort and construction defect cases for a 75 attorney insurance-defense firm in the San Francisco area. He then moved to a boutique litigation firm, also in the San Francisco area, and spent almost five years representing corporate clients in a broad variety of litigation and transactional matters. In 2011 Brian moved to Orlando, and has since expanded both his transactional and his litigation practices to include the representation of defendants in FLSA cases and clients involved in administrative actions involving the Department of Health, the Attorney General, and the Department of Agriculture. He is currently of counsel at ELP, and represents corporate clients concerning compliance issues, collections, contracts, general litigation, and corporate formation.

Arthur Jones

Attorney Of Counsel

Arthur J Jones, Esq., is a graduate from University of Florida’s Levin College of Law (2003) as well as the Eugene Dupuch Law School of The Bahamas (2005). He is licensed to practice in the state of Florida, the Southern District of Florida for the Federal Courts, and eligible to appear pro hac vice in the rest of the United States. He is also eligible to offer legal services in The Bahamas as a “registered agent”.
 
Arthur Jones practices criminal defense, small business and contract law. As criminal defense attorney, Arthur's passion is to weaponize the rights of the accused in the judicial process for use in battles against government agents and agencies who would otherwise overstep their powers of investigation and prosecution. As a business and contact practitioner, he utilizes his litigation experience to direct clients towards their most profitable course of conduct in their business affairs so that the money spent on legal fees safeguards the bottom line instead of simply adding to business costs. 
 
Arthur began his career as a public defender in Gainesville, Florida, and then in Miami.  His jury trial experience is extensive and he has been featured in the New York Times, and appeared in The Miami Herald and on the Fox News Channel. He is actively involved with the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (Miami chapter) as a board member, and with the Puerto Rican Bar Association as a member of the Judiciary Committee and now chairman of its popular Moot Court Competition (Southeast Region). Arthur is also a member of the Dade County Defense Bar Association, Dade County Bar Association (Rainmaker's Committee), American Bar Association, Caribbean Bar Association, and the Wilkie D. Ferguson Bar Association.

July E. Llanes-Bonilla is the Marketing Director and Office Manager of ELP Global, performing accounting, marketing and client services. Mrs. Llanes received her Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Marketing & International Business from the Crummer Graduate School of Business in 2007, where she earned the Suntrust Bank Distinguished Leader of Merit Award and was an Honors Graduate.  She also graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Florida International University in 2004, earning a Bachelors of Business Administration degree with a concentration on International Business. Mrs. Llanes has worked with attorneys and large scale development projects for over a decade, performing office management, client communications, marketing, website management, and advising on advertising material. Mrs. Llanes is a Florida Notary Public and is fluent in English and Spanish.

Netali Peles

Attorney Of Counsel

Netali Peles is a civil litigator with experience in commercial law, employment law, condominium law, and construction litigation. Ms. Peles was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, with a minor in Spanish. Ms. Peles participated in the Honors Communications Program at the University of Seville in Spain. Netali subsequently attended the University of Miami School of Law where she was President of the American Constitution Society, and an active competitor on the International Moot Court Board. Ms. Peles speaks Spanish and Hebrew and is conversational in Afrikaans and Zulu. She is active in the Miami-Dade community and is involved in the Young Lawyers Society, the Brickell Social Club and Greater Miami Federation.

James R. LaVigne

Mr. James R. LaVigne is an international attorney and part of the management team. Mr. LaVigne holds his first law degree from the University of Florida, as well as, a Master of Law Degree in International Law from the University of Notre Dame London Law Center.  Mr. LaVigne is past chairman of the Orlando World Trade Association.  He has had a number of articles published on international law, U.S. immigration law, and European Community law.
Mr. LaVigne has served as an adjunct professor of International Business for Webster University, Orlando Campuses, where he taught International Business, International law in Business, and Global Competition. He has served as an international business consultant for the Export Legal Assistance Network and the University of Central Florida, Small Business Development Center. Mr. LaVigne handles all aspects of international business law, immigration law, contracts, joint ventures, foreign investments in the United States and international tax advising.
He served as the President of the British American Chamber of Commerce and also as a member of the Economic Development Commission of mid-Florida. Mr. LaVigne is currently admitted to practice in all the courts of Florida as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeal in Atlanta and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. LaVigne graduated from the University of South Florida in 1972 with honors in both political science and public address and rhetoric. Mr. LaVigne received his L.L.M. in International Law with honors from Notre Dame University London Law Center. Mr. LaVigne is past chairman of the Orange County Bar Association International Law Committee.
Mr. LaVigne is a Florida Bar Board Certified International Lawyer (less than 40 lawyers of the 65,000 members of the Florida Bar are so certified) and served as Chairman of the Florida Bar International Law Certification Committee in 2010-2011. He continued as a committee member for 2012-2013. He is among Florida Super Lawyers in International Law for 2014.

Neil Tygar

Mr. Tygar graduated from Hofstra University School of Law and received his Juris Doctorate in 1989. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 1990 and The Florida Bar and Washington D.C. Bars in 1991. Mr. Tygar practiced with the New York Firm of Goldson & Radin P.C. in the area of Real Estate Litigation until moving to Florida where he opened the Florida office of Goldson, Radin, & Tygar, P.A., which concentrated in Insurance Defense Litigation and consulted with insurance companies in the areas of Real Estate Brokerage E&O, and Medical Malpractice Defense. In 1997 the firm split up and was renamed the Law Offices of Neil Bryan Tygar, P.A. Since 1997 Mr. Tygar’s practice has concentrated in Real Estate Law, Mortgage Law, and Title Insurance. Mr. Tygar holds a Masters of Law Degree in Real Property and Land Development granted in 2001 from the University of Miami School of Law, is an authorized Title Agent with First American Title Insurance Company and holds a top ten agent designation from First American Title Insurance company granted in 2003. In addition to being admitted to practice before State Courts in New York , Florida, and Washington D.C. he is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Middle District of Florida, Eastern District of New York and Western District of New York, U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Court of Military Appeal, U.S. Court of International Trade, and United States Supreme Court. Mr. Tygar is also a member of the Real Property & Probate Section of the Florida Bar, and has served as General Counsel to a Florida Licensed Mortgage Lender Since 1998.

Dr. Ruy Cabral de Morais is a Brazilian attorney that specializes in insurance and reinsurance law, business law and taxation. He continues to hold the position of Coordinator of the Commission of Electronic and High Tech Crime for the Brazilian Bar Association in São Paulo (since 2012); and is a Specialist in Political Studies and Strategy, with emphasis on Development, Security and Social Justice with the Association of Graduates of the School of War – ADESG – SP. Dr. Cabral also serves as the Managing Director of the Association of Friends of the Station Special Lapa – AAEEL – with a mission to care for the social inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market in Brazil. He has also held the position of Legal Director for the Center of Industries of the State of São Paulo’s West District (2008-2010). Brad Patrick

Brad Patrick is a civil litigator specializing in technology, although his experience reflects a wide range of other types of matters. Mr. Patrick served as interim Executive Director and the first General Counsel for the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit organization which runs Wikipedia, one of the top websites in the world. Mr. Patrick has a wealth of experience handling civil litigation matters in the fields of intellectual property, internet law, software and computer issues, technology licensing, complex tort litigation, construction defect defense, long-term care facility defense, and many other areas. His prior employment includes AV-rated law firms in Seattle, Washington and Tampa, Florida. He held positions in state government and with a publicly traded international software company.

Mr. Patrick graduated from Boston College Law School and Colgate University, cum laude with Honors in Political Science. He is admitted to the Florida Bar, all United States District Courts in Florida, and the United States Courts of Appeal for the Ninth and Eleventh Circuits. He has served on The Florida Bar Media and Communications Law Committee. He is also active in the American Inns of Court movement, and is affiliated with the Ferguson White and Tampa Bay Inns of Court in downtown Tampa.

Javier Baños

Javier Baños is a tax attorney that represents clients on IRS tax matters. Mr. Baños has extensive experience in audit compliance. He specializes in international corporate tax matters, including advising clients about tax compliance issues and filing of tax returns. Mr. Baños has represented clients in tax deficiency payment plans, collection due process hearings, offers in compromise, and other collection negotiation procedures. Mr. Baños also drafts corporate, LLC and partnership agreements, and is well versed in estate planning and asset protection documents. Recently, Mr. Baños worked on the review of the Charter of the City of South Miami and conducted hearings and drafted proposals for the Update and Changes to the City Charter. He helped to implement the changes to the City Charter. Mr. Baños is a graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was member of the Florida Journal of International Law. He obtained his undergraduate degrees in Political Science, cum laude, and Business Administration, cum laude, from Florida International University. Mr. Baños’ professional memberships include The Florida Bar, the Miami-Dade County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Netalie Quinonez

Attorney Of Counsel

Natalie E. Quinonez, Esq. is a Florida Licensed attorney practicing personal injury and family law. She is experienced in auto accidents, slip and falls, as well as handling dissolution of marriage cases. As a resident of the Orlando area since 1995, Ms. Quinonez earned her Bachelor’s in Political Science, with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2007. Subsequently, Ms. Quinonez attended Barry University School of Law where she served as the Vice President of the Hispanic American Law Student Association, 2L Representative of the International Law Association, translator for the Barry Immigration Clinic, and held a clerkship with the Honorable Marc. L. Lubet of the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court, Felony Criminal Law Division. During her clerkship, Ms. Quinonez obtained extensive knowledge on legal research, drafting detailed legal documents, and proper courtroom procedures. Ms. Quinonez also participated in an international criminal law study aboard program.

            Prior to starting her own firm in 2015, Natalie E. Quinonez gained experience while working with different personal injury firms in the Orange, Lake and Polk County areas. Valerie Georgelin

Valerie Georgelin is an attorney licensed in the State of Florida focusing on civil litigation, business and real estate law. Valerie handles general business counseling, personal injury cases, homeowners' associations development and dispute resolution, negotiations for residential and commercial sale and lease agreements, landlord and tenant matters, and contractor disputes. Valerie also counsels foreign investors in the structuring and planning of real estate acquisitions throughout the state of Florida. As a bilingual attorney of South American heritage, she represents numerous Spanish-speaking domestic and Latin American clients who seek to establish their business in Central Florida. Speaking with clients in their own language enables them to better understand their matter and the legal steps being undertaken on their behalf.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Valerie was a real estate agent in Miami Florida for over a decade, focusing on both residential and commercial real estate. She began to sell real estate in 2006, unbeknownst to her, the market was about to crash. Experiencing the collapse of the market forced her to devise new strategies to be successful in real estate. She contacted financial institutions and negotiated foreclosure and short sale agreements to help clients who were losing their homes. Valerie then switched her focus to commercial real estate. She served as a strategic advisor to companies in Miami that were looking to purchase land and assets in order to grow their businesses. The time spent helping businesses navigate the complex landscape of regulations inspired Valerie to go to law school to provide people with solutions to their legal problems. Valerie now uses her extensive real estate background in her real estate legal practice as a lawyer.

Valerie obtained her undergraduate degree from Florida International University and her juris doctor degree from Valparaiso School of Law. She is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida. Clay Cheshire

Clay Cheshire specializes in complex civil litigation, including serious personal injury cases (involving catastrophic injuries or death) and business litigation (including contract, fraud and misrepresentation, and RICO cases). Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Cheshire practiced for a decade at some of the larger law firms in the Southeast, primarily representing businesses, large and small.  He now enjoys devoting his practice to representing individuals and businesses injured by negligence, malpractice, and bad acts.

Other lawyers have recognized Mr. Cheshire as one of the top lawyers in Georgia.  For the last three years, other Georgia lawyers have voted Mr. Cheshire a Super Lawyer “Rising Star.” Only 2.5% of lawyers in Georgia receive this honor, and this is a testament to Mr. Cheshire’s reputation among his peers.

Claude C. Davis II

Claude C. Davis II is a native of Atlanta, Georgia.  He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, Florida in 2002.  He also received his Bachelors in Business Administration in Finance from The University of Georgia in 1999.
Upon returning to Atlanta after receiving his law degree he had the privilege of working as an intern for The Honorable M. Gino Brogdon at the Fulton County Superior Court, where he learned the importance of preparation and legal professionalism.  Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Davis worked several years at one of the preeminent Plaintiff’s law firms in the Southeastern United States focusing on medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, tractor trailer collisions, wrongful death and probate related matters.  He credits these experiences with helping him gain the substantive knowledge and skills that enables him to consistently obtain outstanding results for clients.  He now enjoys devoting his practice to representing individuals and businesses in matters related to business litigation, catastrophic personal injury, and probate/estate planning related matters.
Mr. Davis has litigation and trial experience in state and federal courts both at the trial and appellate levels, as well as in arbitration and mediation proceedings.

Vincent B. Lynch

VINCENT B. LYNCH has over 29 years of state and federal court complex civil litigation and trial experience. Mr. Lynch has successfully represented a diverse clientele in broad based individual, multi-plaintiff and class action matters including major corporations such as AT&T, Blockbuster, CVS, GTE, HCA Healthcare, Home Depot, Publix Supermarkets, Outback Steakhouse International, Raymond James, Ryder, Tyco and Walgreens. Mr. Lynch also has substantial recent corporate and transactional experience including real estate, commercial and residential owners’ associations, non-profit, corporate organization/reorganization, and mergers.

Mr. Lynch began his legal career in the venerable position as both a state and federal court law clerk for the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida (The Honorable Henry Lee Adams, Jr.). Mr. Lynch has over ten years of large law firm experience including the 100 lawyer prominent Tampa, Florida firm of Trenam Kemker, the 220 lawyer statewide law firm based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida formerly as Ruden McClosky and the now 850+ lawyer national law firm, Jackson Lewis.

Mr. Lynch holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Florida in Telecommunications where he was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society and earned his law degree at the University of Florida in 1991.

Mr. Lynch was admitted to the Florida Bar in January of 1992, is only admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and is admitted to Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Florida Supreme Court and the U.S. District Courts for the M.D. Fla., S.D. Fla., N.D. Fla., N.D. Ga., and E.D. Mich.

Angelica Jones

Attorney Angelica Jones grew up in Miami, Florida and Freeport, Bahamas. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2013 and has been working in the field of litigation for the past 7 years.  Attorney Jones specializes in Family Law, and has litigated dependency cases, grandparent’s rights, dissolution of marriage (with and without children), modification of time sharing and child support, paternity, and relocation cases.  She also has experience in Criminal Law, including both jury trials and plea negotiations for clients charged with drug trafficking, possession of cannabis, armed robbery of dwelling, and DUI’s.   Mrs. Jones also practices civil litigation, having litigated claims for breach of contracts, landlord/ tenant, lemon law, breach of warranty, constructive trust in real estate, various types of negligence, premises liability, personal injury, and fraudulent wills.
