Valerie also counsels foreign investors in the structuring and planning of real estate acquisitions throughout the state of Florida. She began to sell real estate in 2006, unbeknownst to her, the market was about to crash. Experiencing the collapse of the market forced her to devise new strategies to be successful in real estate. She contacted financial institutions and negotiated foreclosure and short sale agreements to help clients who were losing their homes. Valerie then switched her focus to commercial real estate. She served as a strategic advisor to companies in Miami that were looking to purchase land and assets in order to grow their businesses. The time spent helping businesses navigate the complex landscape of regulations inspired Valerie to go to law school to provide people with solutions to their legal problems. Valerie now uses her extensive real estate background in her real estate legal practice as a lawyer.
Valerie obtained her undergraduate degree from Florida International University and her juris doctor degree from Valparaiso School of Law. She is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida.
